COVID-19 Visitor Policies FAQ

Admission & Ticketing
Can I only visit the Museum at a specific time?

Advanced purchasing online will be recommended for a touchless admission experience. Visitors will be able to visit mpm.edu for reservations. Please enter during the day indicated on your ticket.

Is my visit to the Museum limited to a specific number of hours?

Visitors are welcome to explore within Museum hours and visits are not limited to a specific duration.

What if I buy a ticket but then am unable to visit at my specified date/time?

Ticket refunds are not permitted, but exchanges for another date may be issued under certain conditions. For assistance, please contact our Call Center at 414-278-2728.

What if I come to MPM without having bought a ticket online?

Visitors who do not wish to pre-purchase their tickets will need to visit a dedicated, walk-up Museum Admissions window or self-serve kiosk. Tickets will be subject to availability and are NOT guaranteed. For assistance, please contact our Call Center at 414-278-2728.

Safety Measures
Do I have to wear a mask?

Masks are welcome but not required. MPM will continue to be a mask-friendly establishment where visitors will always be welcome to wear a facemask. In addition, we will continue to hand out masks to visitors who may want one, as long as supplies last.

Is hand sanitizer available for visitors?

Yes, hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the Museum, and we request visitors please avoid touching surfaces.

How will high-touch areas be cleaned?

Our professional cleaning team is on-site during Museum operating hours to sanitize and clean the restrooms, lunchroom, common areas, and exhibit galleries, including frequent cleaning of surfaces that hands touch to reduce the spread of germs (i.e. door knobs, light switches, handles, etc.). Deep cleaning takes place when the Museum is closed. The floors are mopped and vacuumed, restrooms are cleaned, and all surfaces are sanitized.

How is social distancing being handled/enforced?

Visitors are encouraged to please be mindful of those around you and respect personal space.

What if I need medical attention during my visit?

Our Visitor Services staff will call our MPM Security for assistance.
