Friends of Havenwoods

Stop by to make s’mores and learn about the organization and property.

Havenwoods State Forest

Learn about wildlife management through a pollinator presentation at 11:00 a.m. and meet-and-greet with animals.

Mequon Nature Preserve

Determine the water quality and water health by identifying pond critters and using a water sonde.

ReFlo Milwaukee

Check out the Milwaukee Community Map, an interactive map highlighting the many layers of interaction with water, including watersheds, sewer systems, historic water maps, green infrastructure, and rehabilitation and habitat projects, as well as climate impacts from intense precipitation.

Riveredge Nature Center

This booth will detail how scientists and volunteers monitor amphibian populations.

Wehr Nature Center

At this station, visitors will learn what the spotted lanternfly is, what it looks like, and what to do if a spotted lanternfly is found.

Xerces Society

Invertebrate conservation materials will be available to emphasize pollinators and beneficial insects.

  • Nature Walk - Havenwoods State Forest – 1:00 p.m.
