MILWAUKEE, Wisc. (May 27, 2021)—Beginning today, reservations open for FREE tickets to the June 6 Kohl’s Thank You Thursday (KTYT) at the Milwaukee Public Museum (MPM)! Thanks to Kohl’s, visitors receive FREE general admission to our permanent exhibits. Reservations can be made online or by phone at 414-278-2728.

During June’s Kohl’s Thank You Thursday, visitors will have the opportunity to use digital programming resources to find out more about their favorite exhibits, including virtual tours and guides of Wisconsin Woodlands, Rainforest, A Tribute to Survival, The Arctic and others.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to add Nelson Mandela: The Official Exhibition to their experience for $4 per person. This new exhibition by Round Room Live, which takes visitors on a personal journey through the life of the world’s most iconic freedom fighter and political leader, has made its U.S. debut at MPM, in partnership with America’s Black Holocaust Museum (ABHM).

An immersive experience, visitors will discover Nelson Mandela as they have never known him before. The exhibition features previously unseen film, photos and the display of more than 150 historical artifacts on loan from the Mandela family, museums and archives worldwide to provide fresh insight into the people, places and events that formed his character and the challenges he faced.
