Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Florentine Opera’s Holiday Songs & Hymns performance at MPM! Space is limited; pre-registration is required before December 3.

December 15: Special Exhibit Viewing of Spiders Alive! - We’ll start with a discussion about spiders from about the world and how we feel about these creepy-crawlers. Then, participants will be escorted into the special exhibit to tour freely.

January 19: Winter Wonderland - Life in the Arctic can include some extreme weather conditions but also some incredible wildlife. Join us as we learn about adaptations that animals use to survive in this intense environment.

February 16: Traditions of Love - We’ll explore stories and traditions from cultures around the world all focused on love.

March 15:   Dinosaurs - We’ll examine fossils from millions of years ago and learn about the extinctions and how scientists are continuously making new discoveries.

April 19: Geology Rocks  - We’ll have a hands-on discussion about geology and the changes our earth has undergone over time. The unique objects we share always prompt interesting questions and conversations.

May 17: Secrets of the Museum - Join us for rarely shared stories about how MPM acquired objects, some of the expeditions that took place, and mysterious backgrounds to objects in our collections.

June 21:   Butterfly Science - Explore the science behind the beautiful butterfly as we examine physical characteristics and adaptations, and discuss the migration of the monarch.
